Working across the U.S. · Simple. Secure. Practical.

Most firms will advise you on AI.
Fewer can build the infrastructure.
We also keep it running.

SITS is a business and technology consultancy and a managed I.T. provider. Both, on purpose. We design how your business should work, build and secure the systems that support it, and run them afterwards. Nothing gets handed over and abandoned, because we are still the ones answering the phone.

Where most projects break

  • 1A consultant designs something the team can't run after they leave.
  • 2An AI pilot works once, then quietly stops being used.
  • 3Nobody owns it at 2am when a connector silently fails.

Two ways businesses work with us

Hire us for either. The advantage is that it’s the same team.

Some businesses call because their I.T. needs to stop being a problem. Others call with a business problem that happens to need technology. Running both practices is deliberate: it’s why we won’t design something nobody can support on a Tuesday morning, and why a project doesn’t end with a handover and a goodbye.

Managed I.T.

Our I.T. needs to just work

Endpoints, network, licensing, backup, security and a help desk your team can actually reach. Steady, monitored, supported. We do this for restaurants, law firms, construction, veterinary, manufacturing and professional services across the country.

Consulting & AIEOS

We have a problem worth solving

The same work gets done twice, leadership runs on a spreadsheet somebody rebuilds every month, or an AI pilot impressed everyone and then quietly stopped running. We assess it properly and tell you the truth about what will fix it.

How AIEOS works

Who you get

Two principals. Both sides of the problem.

Most transformation work dies in the gap between the people who understand the business and the people who understand the infrastructure. We don't have that gap. There are two of us, and we've each spent two decades on opposite sides of it.

What we're hired for

What we’re usually called about

Operating model & process

The handoffs are unclear, the same work gets done twice, and nobody can say who owns what. We redesign how the work flows before touching a tool.

Operational data & reporting

Leadership decisions run on spreadsheets somebody rebuilds every month. We replace that with reporting connected to the systems work already happens in.

Practical AI & automation

One job, scoped properly, with controls and acceptance checks. If a plain automation would do it, we'll say so and build that instead.

Infrastructure & cloud

Aging on-premise footprint, accumulated technical debt, cost that keeps climbing. Consolidation and Azure migration with a defensible plan behind it.

PCI DSS compliance

If you take card payments this isn’t optional. Your acquirer enforces it, and your scope depends on how you process. We reduce the scope first, then prove it.

SOC 2 readiness

Voluntary until an enterprise customer makes it the condition of the deal. Control design, evidence collection and audit preparation, automated so it stops eating your team for months.

M&A technology integration

Diligence before the deal, and the messy part afterwards: combining systems, identities, data and teams into one operating company. We've both done it.

Why this matters

AI projects rarely fail at the demo. They fail at the handoff.

The pilot impresses everyone. Then the person who built it leaves, a credential expires, a vendor changes a model, and six months later nobody can say whether it still runs.

The consultancy

Designs it, then leaves

Strong on design and strategy. But when the connector breaks or the model changes, the relationship has already ended and the knowledge left with it.

The I.T. provider

Keeps the lights on

Reliable on devices, network and support. But without the operating and process experience, they can't design the workflow the business actually needs.

SITS

Designs, builds and operates

We wrote the requirements, built the infrastructure underneath, and already manage your licensing, endpoints and monitoring. Operating it isn't a new relationship. It's the same one.

Our AI practice

AIEOS

AI Enterprise Operations Strategy

Most AI programs start with a product and go looking for a problem to justify it. AIEOS runs the other way. We start with how your business actually operates: the jobs, the handoffs, the records people trust. Only then do we decide what AI should do about it, what it is permitted to touch, and who owns it once it’s running.

AIChosen last

The capability is the final decision, not the first. Sometimes the answer is an agent. Often it’s a fixed automation, or fixing the process underneath.

EEnterprise

Your systems, your records, your identity and permissions. Not a sandbox, not a demo tenant. Real access is the hard part, and it’s where we start.

OOperations

The work itself. Which jobs get done twice, which handoffs break, which decisions wait on a spreadsheet somebody rebuilds every month.

SStrategy

A sequenced plan with a cost model, a named owner and an exit. Not a pilot that impresses a room and then quietly stops running.

AIEOS is the goal, not a project. It is where the business is trying to get to. Reaching it runs through six steps, and we walk them with you in the same order every time.

How we decide

Three rules we apply to every engagement. They are the reason our recommendation sometimes costs you less than you came in expecting.

  • The job gets named before the tool. An audience, a source, a task and an owner. Anything vaguer than that cannot be tested, so it does not get built.
  • The simplest thing that works, wins. Sometimes that is an agent. Often it is a fixed automation, or fixing the process underneath. We will tell you which one you actually need.
  • We are still here after launch. Something nobody in your building can operate is not finished, whatever the demo showed.

The path to AIEOS

Six steps from a business problem to something that runs

We don’t start with a platform. We start with one job that quietly eats your week: the kind that takes meetings to coordinate, discussion to settle and a lot of manual effort to finish. We make that job work, measurably, before we scale anything.

01Assess

The problem, the current process and the tools already in place.

02Design

The workflow, the controls and who approves what.

03Connect

Systems, data and identity, with permissions enforced.

04Build

Configure what exists. Build only the missing parts.

05Prove

Test against acceptance checks before anyone depends on it.

06Operate

Monitor the work, not just the server. Fix it when it drifts.

Managed I.T.

The I.T. that has to work before anything else does.

This is not a line we added to look bigger. It is the business we have run for years, and it is the reason we can say we operate what we build. A consultancy that has never carried a pager will design you something nobody can support on a Tuesday morning.

Licensing & user access

Microsoft licensing, provisioning and offboarding, so people get what they need on day one and lose it on their last.

Devices, procurement & endpoint security

Specifying and sourcing the hardware, then deployment, patching, health and security visibility across every device in the business.

Network & infrastructure

Secure paths between users, systems and data. Servers, cloud, databases, backup and disaster recovery, designed to be recovered rather than just backed up.

Monitoring & alerting

Failures, capacity, connections, usage and cost. We would rather call you than have you call us.

Help desk & support

Incidents, access requests, approved changes and escalation, through the self-service portal your team already uses.

Physical security

Cameras, access control and badging. The part most I.T. providers hand to a third party and stop answering for.

Start with one job that isn’t working

Not a platform evaluation. Not a twelve-month roadmap. One process that takes too much time and too many people, assessed properly, with an honest answer about whether AI is even the right tool for it.
